Whether you want a three course meal with friends, a tapas-style quick snack with colleagues, or simply a glass of wine or a cocktail, Goose Fat & Garlic is the place to help you unwind and relax.
Located in the centre of the picturesque town of Sawbridgeworth, Goose Fat and Garlic is established as the choice of restaurant and bar for customers looking for comfortable and friendly surroundings.
Food
We offer a range of menus Dinner, ‘Early Goose’, and a NEW Tapas Menu from January 2006, ensuring there’s something for any occassion and any time of the day.
Our ethos on food is simple – to use only the best fresh ingredients and to use them creatively. We know every ingredient that goes into our meals, so can confidently advise anyone with special dietary needs on the suitability of all dishes.
Drinks
Our wine bar is perfect for pre and post-dinner drinks. With a selection of 50 cocktails, 40 wines and a large selection of shots and shooters, it’s also great for post work meetings, or a night out with friends and family.
Monday to Friday in the bar from 5 – 6.30 pm is Happy Hour, during which our chefs create delicious free bar nibbles to accompany your drink. We also have a new Tapas-style menu should you want a casual meal.
Entertainment
Regular music events at ‘the Goose’ include Live JazzQuartet once a month.
